Gwendolyn  Williams
Passed away peacefully at age 92 with family by her side on January 9, 2017, at her home in Kennebec Manor in Saint John, N.B. Predeceased by her husband Victor, her parents Alfred and Gladys Ivany, sister Gladys (Jones), brother James, and daughters Heather and Sandra (Hodder).

Gwen is sadly missed by her daughters Shirley Streeter (Wendell), Sault Ste. Marie; Janet Marino (Bob), Saint John with whom she resided; son-in-law David Hodder, St. John’s; grandchildren Christine Drachler (Martin), Bill Hodder (Tara Loree), Cory Streeter (Jennifer), Vicky Smith (Deron), Tracey Shipley (Adam); and great grandchildren Melissa and Zachary Drachler, Finnley Hodder, Sutton and Emerson Shipley, Reagan Smith, Oliver and Lily Streeter; several nieces and nephews and long-time family friend Joan Laite of Mount Pearl.

Special thank you to the amazing staff at Kennebec Manor for the exceptional care they provided, especially in her final days.

Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitation taking place Monday, May 8 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
