SINGLE Frank - Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit. Frank Single, of Conception Bay South, age 90 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 68 years and best friend, Ruth (nee Button); his treasured daughters: Nellie (Barry) Stone, Judy (Wes) Jefford, and Evelyn (Clem) Peddle; his grandsons: Paul (Nicole) Jefford, Bryan (Holly) Jefford, Justin (Lindsey) Peddle, David (Stephanie) Stone, and Jamie (Julia) Peddle; his five great-grandsons: Logan, Parker, Jaxson, Mason, and Carson; his sister Florence (Malcolm) Single, as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The Single family would like to extend a very special thank-you to the compassionate and caring staff of the L. A. Miller Center Palliative Care Unit, as well as the Admiral’s Coast Retirement Centre, where he resided for the last 7 years. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 72 Commonwealth Avenue. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm from Park Avenue Pentecostal Church. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to Parkinson Society Newfoundland and Labrador or The Gideons International in Canada.
