BARNES, Anne Marie – Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 27, 2017, Anne Marie Barnes age 74 years. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Marie Barnes. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life daughter Sheila Mercer (Paul); sons: David Neil (Judy), Gerald Neil (Debbie); grandchildren: Kathleen, Marissa, Taylor, Nora, Olivia, Travis and Meghan; sisters: Evelyn (Roy), Lorna (Carter), Daisy (Fred) and brother Spencer (Ingrid); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Special thanks to The Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Team, Nurses at Eastern Health and Home Support Workers. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday from 7-9pm and then on Tuesday from 1-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held from The Parish of St. Michael and All Angels, Kiwanis Street, St. John’s, on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
