The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stella Tizzard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

TIZZARD, Stella – Passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 27th, 2017 at the Dr. L.A Miller Centre, PCU at the age of 70. Predeceased by her mother Ada Tizzard, sister Flora Erwin, sister-in-law Chris Tizzard and brother-in-law Lee Troxel. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her four children: Kenneth(Bernie), Kimberley (Brian), Malcolm and Kelly (Robert); grandchildren: Kenneth, Matthew, Bradley, Stephanie, Chantal, Amber and Jada; great grandchildren: Emilie, Marissa and Matthew; brothers: Derek (Maxcne) and Roger (Corrine); sisters: Elizabeth (Richard) and Mary; ex-husband Allan Stone; Patsy & Ross. Thank you to her friend Sandra for being by her side and best friend Rose. Also leaving behind a large circle of friends and other relatives. Special thank you to the nursing staff at the PCU, Miller Centre for the care and compassion they have shown mom during her stay. Donations in memory of Stella may be made to the family. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, May 29th from 2pm-9pm, Tuesday, May 30th from 10am-9pm and Wednesday, May 31st from 10am-12noon. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, May 31st at 2pm cremation to follow funeral service. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
