CHAFE, Hubert Lester – Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Center surrounded by his loving family on May 28, 2017, Hubert Chafe age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents: Chesley and Blanche Chafe; brothers: Eric, Lloyd, Don, Ray and Fred; sister: Stella Boone and mother and father-in-law: Raymond and Mildred O’Toole. Leaving to mourn with loving memories his wife Patricia; sons: Hubert Jr. (Debbie), Wayne (Andie), Darryl (Bobby Lynn); daughters: Susan (Tom); granddaughter Courtney; sister: Allison Russell and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Chafe family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Shelia McGrath for much appreciated care and attention throughout dad’s illness. Resting at Barrett’s funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Monday and Tuesday, May 29th & 30th, from 12:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. from Gower Street United Church. Interment to follow at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted.
