PIKE, Alexander “Sandy” Walter – Passed away suddenly after a long struggle with cancer, at his residence on Saturday, June 3, 2017, Sandy Pike, age 73 years. Predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Ettie (nee Cuff); and his brothers, Winston and Wallace “Wally”.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, ever loved and never to be forgotten by 5 sons: Scott, Jeffery (Chrissy), Sandy Jr. (Danielle), Trevor (Lynette), Kris (Hillary), and their mother Ellen; 4 grandchildren: Abigail, Olivia, Cody and Joshua; sister, Marina (Ken) Penick; nephews: Terry Pike (Ottawa), Bob Penick (Darlene); Uncle to Ashley, Chelsea and Tyler Pike (Ottawa), Matthew Penick (Meghan), Kendra-Lynn Penick (Allen); as well as many cousins and friends – including special cousin and lifelong friends, Tolson Parsons, and cousin Trudy Parsons Churchill in Ottawa. Cremation has taken place. Burial service will take place at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Blackmarsh Road, at a date to be announced. As expressions of sympathy, donations in Sandy’s memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
