Condolence From: Dave & Melinda Anthony
Condolence: The Stryde Family:Please accept our most sincere condolences on the passing of your loved one.His many contributions to this province will never be forgotten and I speak in particular of his involvement with the education field, specifically the Denominational Education System and in particular his active involvement with the Religious Studies Special Interest Council where many of this province's educators were made so much the better as a result of his knowledge, and his passion for Religious Studies as a curriculum component in this province.I(Dave) attended many Council AGM's at Mint Brook and later in the city along with Sherman and countless others who have remained in contact over the years.23Sadly,many have now passed...remembering Ross Record,Aubrey Goulding,Bernice Mahaney(who just recently passed),just to name a few.Keeping your family in thought and prayer as you journey through the difficult days ahead and sending special love to Sherman's sister, our dear friend Marion. Please find a moment of comfort in the following words:"NOW THE HEAVENS ARE BRIGHTER BY ONE MORE STAR".(Dave & Melinda)

Condolence: Greetings, sympathy, and best wishes to Sherman’s family. I knew and respected him very much, and appreciated his work in two related settings during the 1980s and 1990s. We were colleagues in the Faculty of Education at Memorial. Then, when he moved to the Integrated Education Council, we had mutual interests and responsibilities for the Religious Education programs in the provincial schools. I am very glad to have had opportunities to know him and work with him; and I am sad that his earthly life has ended. I am sure that his heavenly life will be a continuing blessing for all his family, and also for his many colleagues from his working years. “Praise God from whom all blessings flow, ….”

When Mom was in the Health Science, 2003, Sherman and Dona would visit daily, bringing delicious home baked goodies. The company and treats were a welcomed sight.May God Bless you all.
