Ken and Doris Taylor
To Phyllis, Susan, Cathy, June, Heidi, spouses, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family members.
Please accept our sincere condolences in the loss you have suffered with dear Harvey’s home call. This will leave you all with a sense of sadness but we are thankful that this will be tempered by the knowledge that he has gone to be with the Lord and Saviour whom he loved. He has looked forward to this for many years.
My friendship with Harvey goes back to 1965 when we stayed in the same boarding house in Corner Brook. He was a very helpful companion in my early days as a Christian, we enjoyed discussing the Scriptures and preaching the gospel in open air meetings.
Harvey will be remembered for his kindness and thoughtfulness of others. He was marked by a cheerful spirit and had a happy demeanor even through periods of discomfort. Harvey always enjoyed times of conversation during visits at his home and later in the care home. These chats always revealed an interest in others and the Lord’s work.
Harvey was warm-hearted and personable. He loved to speak about the Saviour, and especially His return. Doris remembers that he always mentioned the Lord’s coming in his gospel messages. We are thankful that he is now with the Lord and fully enjoying His presence.
We will remember you in our prayers. May the Lord comfort you during this time of separation.
Our love to you all, Ken and Doris Taylor
