BAILEY, Denika Jacqueline – Passed peacefully away at the Janeway Children’s Hospital after a courageous journey with ROHHAD.NET Syndrome in the loving arms of her mom and dad on Wednesday June 14, 2017, Denika Jacqueline Bailey age 12 years. Predeceased by her grandfather James Bailey, 2015 and great grandmother Eileen Humber, 2017. Left to celebrate her life are her mom and dad: Joey Bailey and Trina Moss; brother Tyrell Bailey; grandparents: Bill and Janice Moss, Phyllis Bailey; great grandparents: Millicent Moss and Jack Humber; uncles: Richard Moss and Jamie Bailey; aunt Jackie Bailey; also many cousins, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Janeway and Sick Kids in Toronto for all their care and compassion given to Denika during her illness. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 12:00 noon – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Parish of The Ascension, Smallwood Drive. Visitation will continue at Christ Church Anglican Parish, Port Rexton on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 12noon – 4pm. A service of remembrance will follow at 4pm.
