Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Homes on Monday, June 26, 2017 Beatrice Mae Hussey age 104 years. Predeceased by her husband Allan, 1974; mother and father: Gertrude (Matthews) Vincent and Norman Matthews; daughters: Phyllis White, 1992, Gertrude (Tootsie) Galardi, 2004; great granddaughter Stacy Galardi; sisters and brothers: Ethel Campbell, Mavis Guest, Olive, Wilson Matthews, Frank Matthews, David Matthews, Harold Matthews, and Max Matthews; uncle Vince and aunt Mary Wiltshire; sons-in-law: Jim White, Joe Galardi and Eldon Butt; brothers-in-law: Les Bignell, Chuck Campbell and Gordon Guest; sisters-in-law: Lillian Buckner, Doris Adams, Effie Hussey, Nell Snow and Frances Baggs; mother and father-in-law: Issac and Annie Hussey. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Frances Bishop (Harvey), Judy Kiss (Gerry) and Allison (Butt) Hussey; grandchildren: Joe Galardi Jr. (Kathy), Gina Galardi, Beatie Rosser, Ken Bishop, Carl Bishop (Barb), Lisa Clarke (Barry), Diane Dunphy (John), Jeanne Butler (Jim), Geoff White (Kathy), Heather White (Bill), Kim Kirby (Steve), Paul Kiss, Tony Kiss, Brenda Kiss, and Eldon Butt; great grandchildren: Jenna Rosser, Joey Rosser, Jeffrey Galardi, Grace Clarke, Grant Clarke, Gillian Smith, Ethan Morrissey Bishop, Daniel Morrissey, Jared Butler, Gillian Overton (Eric), Joey Kiss, Samantha Kiss, Stacy Kiss, Liam Kirby, Shea Kirby, Ryan Dunphy and Evan Dunphy; great great grandchildren: Peyton Young and Lewie Rosser; sisters: Ruth Bignell (Les-deceased), Oakville, ON, Stella Lott, Dubois, PA, Doreen (Dolly) Griffin, Lawrence, Kansas; special sister-in-law Ruby Matthews; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Saint Luke’s Homes for the wonderful care mom received during her stay there, especially the staff of Inglewood. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
