It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daphne Mildred McBay (nee Pearcey) on Monday, July 10th, 2017, age 77 years, after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Lillian Pearcey, and sister-in-law Elsbeth McBay (nee Stoll). Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 56 years, Ken McBay; son Ken (Vanessa) and special grandson Kyle whom she adored; sister Phyllis (Jim Tucker); brother Arthur (June Pearcey); brothers-in-law: Fred McBay and Robert McBay (Sharon); as well as a large circle of family and friends. Also leaving to mourn are the girls from ‘club’ for over 60 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, Thursday from 2 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service to be held at St. James United Church, Elizabeth Avenue, on Friday at 11 am. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
