DENTY, George James – Passed peacefully away on Thursday, July 13, 2017. George Denty age 87 years. Predeceased by his sister Shirley (Clyde) Reid and Grace (William) Heath R.N. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted and loving wife of 54 years Ina (nee Peckham); sister: Marie (Eric- deceased) Parsons; nieces and nephews: Wayne (Marie) Heath, Wade (Lorraine) Reid, Maxine (Jerome) Baker, Jeanette (Derek) Ducey, Ian (Nicole) Parsons and Andrea Lyons; sister-in-law: Muriel (Gerry) Attwood, great nieces and nephews, extended relatives and friends. Ina and the Denty family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to their special nephew Wayne Heath for his continuous love and compassion for George throughout the years. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel, Mt. Pearl. Cremation to follow. Interment will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
