ENNIS - LEDREW, Helen (RN) 1948-2017 - Passed away August 13th, 2017 after a frustrating diagnosis with PSP.
Predeceased by her first husband Capt. Bill Ennis (1995); parents Douglas and Elizabeth White; parents-in-law from the Ennis and Ledrew families as well as cherished in-laws, other relatives and friends. Leaving with fond memories her loving and devoted husband and primary care giver Rudel “Rudy”, her and Bill’s three beloved children: Stephen Ennis; Krista (Dean) Howell, Jared, Finn, and Keegan; Susan (Serge) Clements, Madylin, and Brendan; two sisters: Rose (Freeman) Barron, Shirley Rimiller; six brothers: Bruce (Peggy), Eugene (Betty), Ken (Barb), Paul, Doug Jr. (Darlene), David (Maureen); other brothers and sisters-in law from the Ennis and Ledrew families; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Special thank-you to Dr. Sandi Ennis & Dr. Kyna Squarey, and the many other health care providers.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, Mt. Pearl. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 15th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 16th from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 17th, at 11 a.m. from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, Manuals. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the Captain William Ennis Memorial Scholarship Fund- Marine Institute (Memorial University of Newfoundland), or the Mazol Shriners Transportation Fund.
