Passed away peacefully on September 15th at Tiffany Village, Mary Bayfield Kelly, a British War Bride, at the age of 98. Predeceased by her loving husband Ernest Kelly in 2004. Leaving to cherish her long life with wonderful memories are her devoted children: Linda (Lloyd) Spencer of Bay Roberts, Janice (Claude) Bélanger of Longueuil, Quebec, Brian (Jo-Ann) Kelly of St John's and Christine (Gary) O'Rourke of Mount Pearl. Left with memories of their sweet Nan-Nan are her grandchildren: Valerie (John) Barron, Deanna (Chris) Martin, Alice (Lewis) Mercer, Damien Bélanger (Oksana), Adrien Bélanger, Greg (Jodi) Kelly, Janice (Rob) Moore, Pamela Thompson (Steve) and Alex Thompson (Kim). And she leaves behind her darling great-grandchildren: Lauren Barron, Aidan Parsons and William, Charlotte and Andrew Moore. Also sister-in-law Elizabeth Thistle, many nieces & nephews in Canada and England, and special friend Susan Capps. We would like to give grateful thanks to her Tiffany family, the 2nd floor staff at Tiffany Village who gave our dear Mother the best of care in her last years and always treated her with love, respect and dignity. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Visitation will take place on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 12: 30 pm – 1:30 pm at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Funeral Service will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 2pm with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honour.
