GALLANT, Lucille M. (nee Butler) – It is with great sadness that the family of Lucille Gallant announce her peaceful passing on Monday, October 9, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts and a lifetime of beautiful memories her devoted husband of 50 years Gerald (Spud); her daughters: Gillian (Kevin) March and Emily (Jason) Geary; her four precious grandchildren: Kyle and Laura March and Nathan and Tyson Geary; her sisters: Pauline (Ross) Drake and Geraldine (Jerry) Dowling; her sister-in-law: Marie Butler (Gerry – deceased); her brothers in-laws: Bernie (Eileen) Gallant, Gibby (Betty) Gallant, Ted (Rita) Gallant and Junior (Linda) Gallant; many treasured nieces, nephews, and many dear, lifelong friends. At Lucille’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter’s Parish, Ashford Drive., Mt. Pearl, NL. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Lucille has requested donations may be made in her memory to the Dr. H.
