MERCER, Clayton Howard - Passed peacefully away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Health Science Centre, Clayton Howard Mercer age 91 years. Predeceased by his wife Priscilla Jane (nee Badcock); parents: Thomas & Margaret Mercer. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Clayton (Marilyn), daughters: Linda (Bill) Ralph, Brenda (Harold) Luscombe, Beverley Sheehan, Janet (Edmund) Williams, Karen (Steven) Williams; sisters-in-law: Susan Pretty, Jean Babcock; brother-in-law Donald (Inez) Babcock; cousin Wilbur (Audrey) Sparkes; fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dad was a long-time employee of the Royal Garage. A special thank you to the staff of Admiral’s Coast Retirement Home for all their care. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday, October 18th, and Thursday, October 19th from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service to held at Wesley United Church, Patrick Street on Friday, October 20th at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens, Galway, NL.
