PENNEY, Harold Overton – It is with broken hearts we the Penney family announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Harold Overton Penney on Friday, October 20, 2017, born January 21, 1935. Predeceased by his parents: Edwin and Rita and brothers Howard and Cyril. Leaving to mourn with laughter and many cherished memories his devoted wife of 65 years Beatrice (nee Barnes) his children: Evelyn (Randy) White, Gary (Sandra), Randy (Bonnie), Glen (Marilyn), Kevin (Linda), Faron (Michelle), Wanda (friend Maria) Brett, Shawn (Sandy) and Lori (Keith) Penney; grandchildren: Jeremy (Kelley) White, Rodney (Amanda), Nichole (Allen) Patten, Danielle (Brian) Penney, Adam, Glen Jr, Sara (Dylan), Kailey, Alicia, Faron Michael (Kim), Shelby (Lucas), Nathan (Rebecca), Courtney (Grant) Courtney, Maddison (Christopher) Brett, Joel, Kerri, Katie, Shelby and Charlie; 16 great grandchildren; siblings: Joyce (Leslie- deceased) Mercer, Gertie (Brett – deceased) Oake, Joan (Harvey) Leyte, Marion (Don) Hodder, Yvonne (Larry) Bulgin, Sybil (A.Frank – deceased) Penney, Peter (Florence – deceased), Sandy (Vera), Michael, Stephen (Rosetta);sister-in-law: Madge; brother-in-law: Norman (Bernice) Barnes, extended family and a large circle of friends. At Harold’s request cremation has taken place. A celebration of Harold’s life will take place in Horwood at a later date.
