Condolence: Deepest condolences to the Wiseman family. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very sad time. Betty was my Mom’s (Alice Crane) best friend at Hillcrest and being the kind, loving, strong woman that she was, helped my Mom tremendously with her transition at the home and from that moment on they formed a special bond of friendship that one could only ever hope for in a lifetime (I teased them about being “partners in crime”)! Betty, my sweet darling you are loved and will be sadly missed but we take comfort in knowing that you are now out of your pain and safe in the arms God where you will forever smile down on us all while playing us a beautiful tune on those ebony and ivory keys. I pray for God to give the family strength in the days and weeks ahead. Treasure the beautiful memories and let Betty’s love live on in your hearts forever.

Condolence From: Linda Lythcott Graham
Condolence: Sincere condolences to the Wiseman family. I remember Betty from when I would visit my nan and Uncle Billy and cousins, as her husband Harry was my uncle's best friend, and they would come visit when I was there. My mom knew them well also. Harry and my uncle were friends for well over 60 years; Harry and Betty were best man and matron of honour at Uncle Billy's wedding to Lill. My mom was friends with Harry's sister (Mrs. Jacobs). Rest assured they are all reunited in the great beyond.

Condolence: My heart was saddened today as I learned of the passing of our dear family friend "Betty". I do not remember when we met Betty and I don't remember never not knowing her. During my young teen years Betty was my sister Jeans' best friend and spent a lot of time at our house on the other end Harry spent a lot of time at our house to because he was my dads best friend. Don't know if that had anything to do with their connection. After they got married she became my stepmoms best friend. Betty earned her wings and is now soaring through the Heavens looking for those black and white keys so she can play piano for the Angels and all those who went on before her. Betty earned her wings because she served her master well. To my knowledge never faltered. I moved away a long time ago but anytime I went home for a visit I made sure I got to visit her. This past summer I was home for a visit and my sister Joy and I had the honor of spending lunch time with her and reminisced over a feast of fish and chips. A couple of hours well spent. She is in a better place now, no more pain and she will forever have a place in out hearts. To her 3 sons and the rest of her family I know the loss you are feeling today. My prayers are with you.

Condolence From: Garry E. Milley
Condolence: Dear Bob and Family, It took us totally by surprise to hear the sad news. Just a few days ago Christine and I watched you and mom as you sang “On a hill far away.” We recalled how often we dropped in to see her. We hardly ever passed along without poking our heads in the door and asking, “How are you doing Aunt Betty?” Well, both of us know she is doing alright today. A glad reunion with your dear dad, Harry. She’s probably looking for a piano or an old pump organ and arranging a sing along. It’s a happy time there. Not so much here though, because you will feel the pain of grief keenly. Love runs deep and that’s why grief hurts. Christine and I were honoured to be pastors there and we hold you close to our hearts. May the Lord grant you comfort and peace. Your friend, Garry Rev. Dr. Garry E. Milley St. Thomas, Ontario.
