DUPLAIN, Phyllis Elizabeth (Ghaney) – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Phyllis Elizabeth Duplain (Ghaney) on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Ruby, Donna (Kevin); sons: Harry, Pat (Kim). Also left to mourn her are grandchildren: Brad, Dawn, Michael, Daniel, Todd, Stephen, Kenny and Melanie; 9 great grandchildren; and one surviving brother Edward Ghaney of Edmonton, Alberta. Predeceased by her husband Harry Duplain (1973); daughter Pansy Walsh (2014). Also left to mourn are dear friends: Shirley Hurley (James), Don Peddle, David Witcher and other close deaf friends, and her many hearing friends at the Kingdom Hall. The family wishes to especially thank the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home (4th Floor) for their on going support of our Mom. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 168 MacDonald Drive, St. John’s.
