Rhyma was born on April 30, 1929 to Annie & Edward Stagg of Cape Freels North, Bonavista Bay, NL. Rhyma passed peacefully in the presence of her family on December 5, 2017 at the age of 88. Predeceased by husband Ernie and infant son Eldon. Left with fond and loving memories are her two daughters: Bessie Kendall (Victor) of St. John’s and Cora Vinicombe (Gary) of St. John’s, NL; grandchildren: Bridget Power (André) of Corner Brook, NL, Michael Kendall (Pierrette) of Dartmouth, NS, Mark Vinicombe (Jacqueline) of Sugar Land, TX, and Justin Vinicombe of St. John’s, NL; great-grandchildren: Kendall Power, Matthew Power, and Olivia Kendall; sister-in-law: Faith Stagg; brother-in-law: James Rideout; and sister-in-law: Martha Humphries; many special nieces and nephews and furry companion Damien. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitation on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10am-9pm & Friday December 8 from 10am-12pm. Funeral service to take place at Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, December 8 at 2pm. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
