HAMPTON, - Helen Grace (nee Squires) – Gardener, Artist, Home Maker and Lover of Nature. It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of a dear wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on Friday, January 12, in her 76th year. Helen is predeceased by her parents: Hudson and Gladys Squires; sisters: Betty Grosbach, Sheila Rae, Alice Noseworthy, Dorothy Trenchard and Marjorie Murphy; brothers: John, Herb, Fred and Jim and special friend/nephew Dave Noseworthy (Marilyn). Also sisters-in-law: Marg and Grace (nee Hampton}. Leaving to mourn her loving husband and best friend Fred Hampton; Helen’s children and grandchildren: Bob and Rhonda Chaulk, their children Jimmy (Sarah Burgess), Benjamin and Cassandra, Rhonda and Calvin Manning, their children Luke and Jacob, Roxanne Chaulk her children Jacquelyn (Mark Smith} and Katie, Andrea Chaulk her children Ryan and Corey and Blair and Delsie Chaulk and their son T.J.; stepson Edward Hampton and special friend Shirley (Freddie James}. As well as Helen’s sister Gwen (Cal) Francis; special sisters -in-law: Millie Squires and Maude Fagan; life long friend Shirley Bursey; Precious nieces and nephews: Patsy, Barbara Ann, Randy, Linda, Janette, Ernie, Brian, Shirlene, Kim, Laura, Linda, Peggy, Peter, Bruce, Judy, Gloria, Greg, Claude, Joe and Karen {David, Steven and Angie} and many others dear to her. The family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to Dr. Wanda Whitty, all the staff and volunteers from the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center and The L.A. Miller Center. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Sunday, January 14, and Monday, January 15, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 -9:00p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel. Cremation to follow. Inurnment will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center.
