Condolence: My most sincere condolences to Fred and all of Helen’s Beautiful Family and Friends. I am sorry that I am unable to see you all in person and offer my sympathy personally. I met Darling Helen many Moons ago and her infectious smile and warm nature jelled us as friends. I visited often when she lived on Salmonier Line and Christmas was one of my favorite times, spring, being the other. But in Helen’s company it really didn’t matter the time of year. She “LOVED” Christmas and began in November to decorate. I felt the warmth of her presence in the yard before I entered her front porch. Then it was,
AH !! as, the smells and sounds of Christmas and Big Father Christmas’ greeting throughout the little home. Helen went “All Out” when she invited guests and set that gorgeous table. It felt like she was sharing Heaven. She made me feel so special, I loved her.
Spring, she made beautiful gardens and had such a green thumb. It was like flowers and veggies just grew to see her smiling face. She taught me many things from making homemade faces for Santa to making things from the garden to sharing her tricks with the artist’s brush.
Helen was a very genteel lady who exuded peace and goodwill to everyone. She adored her family and they were the first topic of conversation as she shared with a smile and so much love for all of you. She spoke lovingly about her dear friends and Helen had many great friends. She was a good listener and a wonderful friend. I feel sad that when she and Fred moved we didn’t visit, but sickness and ill health in families takes up so much time as we all know, then, alas, it’s too late. Rest Peacefully Dear Helen, the World was a better place because you were here. You will be missed because you gave a lot and I will treasure my memories of you with a smile in my heart and a little sadness because people like you are a rare find. RIP
Gen (Kennedy)
