The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Normand Ares can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I played mentee to Norm for 6 months just before he retired. Norm was kind, patient and generous with his knowledge. Norm was so laid back with a great sense of humor.
We serviced hospitals in just about every nook and cranny of Newfoundland together. We shared many meals, laughs and endless road travel. I learned a lot from Norm and appreciate that very much!
Thanks Norm
