WORKS, Joanne Valerie (nee Davidson) – On Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Joanne Valerie Works age 54 years passed peacefully away to start her new adventure surrounded by her loving family. Leaving to remember Joanne’s love of nature, life’s adventures, laughter, and unconditional love, her parents: James and Betty Davidson; husband Dave; her greatest gifts in life her children: Ryan and Kristin; precious grandson: Carter; siblings: Wendy (Gerard) Morris and Michael; her beloved fur babies Molly and Bella; special friends: Steve Hunt, Val Dwyer, Terry Moore, Stella Brazil, Alanna Greene, Paul and Grace O’Reilly and Colin King, aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Joanne’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Scott Moffatt, Dr. Joy McCarthy and the staff of the P.C.U. of the Miller Center, St. John’s Newfoundland for their endless compassion and care. At Joanne’s request cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from St. David’s United Church, Bible Hill, N.S. Interment to follow at Bible Hill Cemetery. Please join the family for a reception at the church hall following the Funeral service. Donations may be made in Joanne’s memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Barrett’s Funeral Home, Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland.
