PIERCEY, Annie Viola (nee Handcock) – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, February 13, 2018. Annie Piercey age 92 years. Predeceased by her daughter Lola and siblings: Lewis, Arthur and Martha. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted husband of 68 years Albert; her children: Valerie (Dominique Couture) Piercey, Elaine Hunter, Jean (Gary) Patterson, Pamela (Junior) Patterson, Albert, Catherine Piercey, Reid (Kimberley), Clark (Laura), Irene (Bob) Garrigan and Stephen; 25 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother: Alf (Josie) Handcock; sister: Kay Babstock; brothers-in-law: Walter (Doris) and Robert; sister-in-law: Eunice Antle, nieces, nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Friday, February 16 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 17 from 10:00 am – 12:00 p.m., 2:00 -4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel, Mt. Pearl.
