Emma Margaret Benoit
Emma Margret Beniot (nee Chislett) - sadly passed away February 21, 2018 at Dr. L.A. Miller Centre in the presence of family and friends. Emma Margret Beniot (Chislett) was born August 5, 1944 to Edward and Mildred Chislett of Islington, Trinity Bay. Emma is predeceased by her loving husband Joe Benoit and brother in-laws Stan Chislett, Ray Green and Steve Stevenson. Leaving to morn; her sisters Joan (Gord), Stella, Verna (John), Dianne (Hughie), Maxine (Walt), Pauline (Joe), her brothers Eddie (Connie) and Barry; children Anthony, Todd, Tracey (Neil), step children Kevin, Keith and Kerry and her dear friends Francis (Wally) Williams and Maureen Noftal. As well as her grand children, Troy, Daniel, Brandon and Trevor; great grand children Nathan and Haley. And many nieces and nephews. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Palliative Care staff at the Miller Centre for their exceptional kindness in Emma’s final days. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Saturday, February 24 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Monday, February 26 from Barrett’s Chapel at 11am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
