COOMBS, Alice – Passed peacefully away in the arms of her children on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Alice Coombs age 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Weston Rodgers; brothers Art and William Robbins and son in law: Leo Broomfield. Leaving to mourn with laughter and cherished memories her children: Rosie Broomfield, Robert -Brud (Marg), Judy Barrington (Gerry O’Brien) and Joan Oakley; grandchildren: Sheri (Dean) Senior, Lisa (Norm) Mazerolle, Crystal (Radcliff) Fahey, James (Cyndi) Barrington, David (Katie) Coombs, Jonathan (April) Broomfield and D.J. (Ashley) Oakley; 12 great grandchildren; brother: Philip (Diane) Robbins; sisters: Rita Dawe, Jessie Walsh, Shirley Kaufman and Bertha (Ches) Maclellan; sister-in-law and best friend: Yvonne Robbins; adopted daughter: Olive Hodder, and nieces, nephews, family and friends. At Alice’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Ave. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel Hamilton Ave. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
