Obituary for Patricia Godbout

Patricia Godbout
Anne Patricia Godbout (nee MacIsaac)

Patricia passed peacefully on Tuesday while surrounded by her family. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Annie (Ryan), treasured grandsons Levi and Maxwell, brothers Earl (Lois) and Cyril and sister in-law Jane (Burke). She is predeceased by her parents Earl and Annie (nee Burke), siblings Doris, Yvonne (Albert), Burke and Noreen (Thomas) and sister-in-law Dorothy (Cyril). Patricia will be remembered fondly by many nieces and nephews, relatives and dear friends.
Patricia was born and raised in Port Hood, Cape Breton and later journeyed to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, followed by Peterborough, Ontario and has been proud to call St. John's, Newfoundland home since 2011.
Patricia was a bright light who brought kindness, compassion and much laughter into this world. Her calling was helping others and spreading kindness, which she demonstrated as a nurse and then later in life, as a personal care giver. Mostly recently in retired life, Patricia was a regular at many community and social groups around St. John's.
Patricia will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all those who had the pleasure of getting to know her.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful staff of 4 North at the Health Sciences Centre for their kindness and care.
Cremation has taken place with visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11-2. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Patricia’s memory to a Women’s Charity of one choice.
