Richard "Rick" Stanley  Janes
Passed peacefully away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a short illness, Richard “Rick” Janes, age 65 years. Predeceased by his wife: Dianne (Martin); parents: Mark & Catherine Janes; brothers: Mark & Robert. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter: Lisa; son: Brad (Meaghan) and his only granddaughter whom he adored: Abigail. Rick also leaves behind his brother: Roy (Jane) and sisters: Mary Viola (Andy) and Rosalie Bagg (Roy); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to take place from The Anglican Church of St. Mary The Virgin on Thursday, March 29 at 2pm. Private inurnment to follow. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Rick’s memory may be made to the Gathering Place.
