Condolence From: Melvin Crewe
Condolence: To Veda, Valerie, Vivian and Roger and families:
Sorry to hear of Aunt Eileen's passing, Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. The wonderful memories of Aunt Eileen will remain with us forever. She was the center of attention, whether on a bus tour, card game or just a social. She would always call me for a joke or two so she could entertain the group, quite a lady. The bus tours to Quebec, Tennessee and the tour of Ireland were highlights of her ventures. Aunt Eileen will certainly be missed. Love you!
Melvin D. Crewe (Nephew) and family.

Condolence: Veda, Valerie, Vivian and Rog. There’s one word that comes to my mind when I think of Aunt Eileen.....LOVE! Just a few short days before she passed away I read a poem at the memorial service of our Annual Breast Cancer Conference and I can’t help but think that the message in this poem is what Aunt Eileen would want us to do. It’s called The Epitaph by Merrit Malloy and it goes like this:

When I die give what’s left of me away
to children and old men who wait to die.

And if you need to cry
cry for your brothers walking beside you.
And when you need me,
put your arms around anyone
and give them what you need to give me.

I want to leave you with something
Something better than words or sounds.

Look for me in the people I’ve known or loved
And if you cannot give me away
at least let me live in your eyes and not on your mind.

You can love me most by letting hands touch hands
By letting bodies touch bodies
and by letting go of children that need to be free.

Love doesn’t die
People do
So when all that’s left of me is love.....
Give me away!
*******************
So to you and your families I give you my love.....please know that if I wasn’t out of the province for a work related conference I would certainly be there to share stories of my memories with your mom and to share in celebrating her life. Much love to you all.

We are so saddened and sorry to hear of Aunt Eileen's death. She was such a special lady, one who was compassionate, kind, loving and funny. She loved family so much and was loved back in return. We will never forget the times spent on visits to Glovertown and the wonderful singing that we all enjoyed. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms.

Condolence: Our hearts are truly saddened by the passing of this wonderful lady with a true heart of pure gold. She was truly one in a million, with her kindness, her wit, joke telling, and her love of life, which she lived to the fullest. She was, without a doubt, one of the best friends my mother, Mary, ever had. Her daily visits and shared meals together will be missed for a long time to come. Eileen faced her illness with a courage that I have never seen before. I guess it was because she had such a strong faith in God, and knew that when the day finally came that she would no longer be on this earth, she was going straight to Heaven. She was not afraid to die. She just didn't want to suffer too long. Well, Eileen, thank God your suffering is over, and I know without a doubt that you are in heaven. That is where all angels go. And I bet you have the most beautiful wings. Rest Easy my Friend. You will be missed by so many people. God Speed. Your work here on earth is done xo
