Passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 surrounded by the loving family at the Dr. L.A Miller Center.
Predeceased by his parents Alex and Annie Stead and stepmother Hazel
Leaving to mourn partner Melissa, daughter Kaitlin (Jordan), stepson Kyle, sisters: Margo and Karen, also leaving behind nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
A special thank you to the staff at the Cancer Clinic and the Miller Center for the care they provided Wayne during his illness.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 17 from 2pm-9pm at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue.
Funeral service will take place from St. James United Church on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2pm, with inurnment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society
