Condolences

Condolence From: Kim Smith
Condolence: Jackie & family : I left work at North Pond Manor on Thursday with a heavy heart knowing that it would be the last time that I would see your Dad .Eric was the sweetest little man I had the privilege of meeting & caring for. His eyes lit up when I told him that I grew up on the South Coast of Labrador. He proudly told me that he traveled to my home town thousands of times. He laughed when I said " You must have worked on the coastal boats cause when I was growing up the only way out of my community was by boat, plane or ski-doo." We talked about him working on the Sir Robert Bond, the Tavernor & the Northern Ranger. He told me to "slow down cause life's to short to be going around like a can opener." He even tried to race me down the hall when he got his wheels aka the walker. He was so very thankful for every little thing .The world would be a better place if they had more people like Eric. Rest easy little man, you are missed.
