Obituary for Ruth Benson (Peddle)

Ruth   Benson (Peddle)
Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, Ruth Marie Benson (nee Peddle). Predeceased by her parents Robert and Florence Peddle, husband of 46 years Wilfred Benson, sister Florence Mackey and brother Chesley Peddle. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, son: Craig Benson (Yvonne); daughters: Cathy Vokey (Ken) and Karen Parrott (Francis); grandchildren: Andrea (Brendan); Stephanie (Michael); Katie (A. J.); Evan; Adam; Erica; Ethan; Ava and Abigail; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm and Friday, September 14 from 10am-12pm, 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral Service to be held from George Street United Church on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 2pm. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. A special thank-you to the doctors and nurses in the ICU at St. Clare’s Hospital for their care and understanding. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to George Street United Church.
