CAMPBELL, George Acheson – Passed peacefully away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre. George Campbell age 82 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Doris (2007) and brother Cecil. Leaving to mourn his children: Danny (Theresa), Cathlyne Campbell, Georgie (Nery), Raymond and Karen; grandchildren: Kayla Cahill, Greg, Krista, Daniel, Georgie and Sammie; great grandchild: Ellie; brother: Duncan; sister: Teenie; special friends: Ron Baird and Bill Cahill and friend and neighbour Travis Reid. The Campbell family would like to extend a special thank you to the Staff of Alderwood Estates and to the staff, doctors and nurses of the P.C.U., L.A. Miller Centre for their compassion and care. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 -4:00 and 6:00 -9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Peter’s Parish, Ashford Drive. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
