REID, Edgar “Ted” – Passed suddenly away on October 8th 2018 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his parents; Alex and Violet Reid, brothers; Willis & David Reid, sisters; Elizabeth & Dorothy. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his brothers; John (Betty), Robert (Edna), sister; June (Barry), sister-in-law; Betty, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will occur on Thursday, October 11th 2018 at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 7:00-9:00p.m. A service of remembrance will be conducted on Friday, October 12th at 10:00a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel (Hamilton Avenue) with interment taking place at General Protestant Cemetery following the funeral service.
