Condolence: George and Wally I have nothing but happy memories of your Mom.Even in my teen years ,your Mom would drive me to choir at St Thomas'.Getting her and the card group together was a joy over the years. The bond our parents had is something we all cherish .They are all gone from us now but I'm certain that their kind and caring ways are carried on through us.
Sincerely Gloria

Condolence: George, Wally & families,
Thinking about you all as you mourn the loss of your mom, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary was a special lady and I loved her dearly. We had so many wonderful shared experiences and heart to heart talks over the years. I especially cherish the support she gave me when I was a young nursing student at the General (away from home for the first time). Her Sunday dinners at Forest Road were so appreciated! Since leaving Nfld. in the 70's to live in Ont and now in BC, Carl & I made a point of visiting and connecting with her whenever we travelled home. We cherish those visits and the memories. We so wish we could be at her service today. It is at times like this that you feel physical distance the most but we feel close to her in our thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you all, Love, Karen (Guppy) & Carl Abbott

Condolence: To: George, Wally & Families:
It is with great sadness that I just heard of your mom's passing! In my days of serving at St. Thomas' Church, Mary shared a great deal of ministry with me in at that parish. She was a long time member of our choir; a faithful member of our evening bible study group and many areas of worship and service. I got to know her husband, Oswald ('Puck') and the family quite well while bringing the Sacrament to her mom, -your grandma, in her latter years. I went to visit her at the Home just last year. Alas, she could no longer communicate fully with me...but we did share that familiar prayer together. She is now gone to be with her Lord whom she served so well, and we thank God for her life. My wife, Rowena, who also knew her, joins me in extending our condolence and our prayers are with you in this your time of bereavement.
