Condolences

Condolence From: Major Don Snook
Condolence: Mrs. Major Georgie Thorne and families,

From my earliest recollections, it was always a special occasion when the "Douglas sisters" would visit the Grand Bank Corps, as young officers on their annual vacation.

Blanche has been called home, but her prayers and the preaching of the Word will continue to reap rewards of an eternal, faithful, Heavenly Father. .

To each member of the family, this is truly a time to be thankful for such a remarkable woman who lived a life of Christian principles for all to follow.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

One in Christ,

Don and Leah Snook, Majors (R)

Condolence:
To the family of Major Blanche Pike

You have lost a wonderful mother and grandmother and your loss is great because your love was great. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her but we rejoice that she has heard the Lord's gracious "Well done!" as He received His faithful servant.

"May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in believing as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit". (Romans 15:13).

With love and prayers,
Shirley
(for the Rowsell family)

Condolence: It is with mixed emotions that we hear of the passing of Mrs. Major Blanche Pike. We grieve along with her family and many friends over not seeing and interacting with her over the coming years but we along with you celebrate her Promotion to Glory and going home to be with Jesus and living eternally there...joining with those loved ones who have gone on before her! We will miss her friendly smile and caring spirit. We want you all to know that you are being supported by our thoughts and prayers at this time. Losing a dear mother, grandmother, aunt and special friend is never easy no matter what the age. May God prove true to his promise to be with you all with comfort and peace during these days! Much love and prayers going your way!
