Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Dr. L. A. Miller Centre, Lena Peddle, age 56 years. Predeceased by her parents: George & Muriel. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband: Barry; sons: Shayne (Alyssa) & Kyle (Dani); grandson: Henry; sisters: Carol, Bev & Nora; many nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Armstrong at the Health Science Centre and the doctors, nurses & staff at PCU, Dr. L. A. Miller Centre for their compassionate care. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 7pm-9pm and Thursday, December 13 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 14 from the Salvation Army West Citadel, Mundy Pond at 11am. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Lena’s memory may be made to Daffodil Place or Ronald McDonald House.
