SAUNDERS, Marjorie Marie – Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, January 3rd 2019 at the age of 77. She is predeceased by her parents: William & May Boone; her father in law: Harold John Saunders; brothers: Edward & Cecil; and her sister in law Vera.
Leaving to mourn with precious & fond memories her loving husband of 51 years: Eric William Saunders; her mother in law: Florence “Floss” Saunders; her beloved children: Shelley (Scott), Todd (Carol), & Todd (Bernadette); her precious grand children: Ashley, Allyson, Alanna, William, Megan, David, Brandon, Alicia, Alayna, Andrea, Brayden & Mackenzie; her cherished great-grandchildren: Nolan, Skyla, Zoey, Carter & Autumn, Bentley, Ronan, Matthew, Chris, & Spencer; as well as a large circle of close relatives & friends.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Sunday, January 6th 2019 from 10am-12pm (immediate family only) and public visitation from 12pm-9pm, also on Monday, January 7th from 10am-9pm, and Tuesday, January 8th from 9:30am-12pm. A funeral service will be conducted from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Tuesday January 8th at 12:00pm with cremation to follow. A reception service will take place at Barrett’s Reception Centre, immediately following the funeral service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Intensive Care Unit.
