Stanley "Stan" Francis  Puddester
PUDDESTER, Stanley Francis - It is with heavy hearts that we share the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, mentor and friend, Stanley “Stan” Puddester, at the age of 92, on January 8, 2019. Predeceased by parents Elizabeth and Richard Puddester; first wife Mary Puddester (nee Benoite); second wife Shirley Puddester (nee Escott); and grandson Eric Balkam. Leaving to mourn are his loving and devoted family, sons: Ron Puddester (Frances), Stan Puddester (Kim), Doug Puddester (Catherine), Robert Puddester (Kelly), Kenneth Puddester (Dorothy), Kevin Puddester, Darrin Puddester; and daughters: Betty Shea (Doug), Rosemary Miller (Ernie), Shirley Sweeney (Gary); sons: Harry Escott (Monica), Eddie Escott (Bev), Perry Escott; and daughters: Ruby Escott and Mary Balkam (Gord). Also leaving to mourn a flock of cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Proud of his family, Stan was a true loving man with a contagious sense of humour who touched the hearts of everyone he met. He will be greatly missed and forever loved! Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, January 9, and Thursday, January 10, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10:00am, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Stan’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
