It is with heavy hearts that Jerrys family announces his sudden passing at his home in Terra Nova, NL at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by his mother Alice King (Byrne) and father James King. Also, his younger brother Michael King.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife and best friend Daisy King (Upshall). Children Don King (Joanne) and Grandchildren Megan And Matthew. Daughter Lori King and son in law Sean Lake. Also, his youngest son Jody King. His siblings Bernard (ann) King, Donna Piercey (predeceased by husband Bob), Jean White (Ellwood) Mary Piercey (Fred). Also, his sister in laws Norma Stanley (Don) Barbara Saunders (Gary) and Lorraine Wiseman (predeceased by husband John) and a number of nieces and nephews.

A special Thank you to life long friends Earl and Sharon Smith who extended their support and helped us more than they know and we are forever grateful.
Jerry was best known for his jovial presence, his kind heart and his love for Terra Nova. He was proud of his children and he will be greatly missed by a large circle of family and friends.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday January 24, 2019 from 12-2 pm followed by a short memorial service at 2:00 pm in the Barrett’s Memorial Chapel.
