The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alice Vincent can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Poem "God's Garden"

 

  "God's Garden"

God looked around His garden,

And He found an empty place.

He then looked down upon this earth,

and saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you,

and lifted you to rest;

God's garden must be beautiful-He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,

He knew you were in pain;

He knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough

And the hills are hard to climb.

So He closed you weary eyelids, and whispered,

"Peace by thine"

It broke our hearts to lose you,

But you didn't go alone,

For part of us went with you, 

The day God called you home.

I read this poem and though of Aunt Jean  and how she loved to garden.
