We were shocked in hearing of Nelson's sudden passing. He was a true hockey player as well as being a great friend over the many years of playing at the Old Memorial Stadium on up to our many games at the Twin Rinks Arena. Nelson will be missed.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this very difficult time

Condolence From: Jack Drover
Condolence: Dear Marilyn, Andrea, Don, and Susan,

Jane and I were so very sorry to learn of Nel's passing. We certainly enjoyed seeing you during our visits to Newfoundland, especially time at Middle Gull Pond, and also when you came to my sisters for a feed and frolic. We also enjoyed hosting you many years ago when you came to New Brunswick.

My personal friendship with Nels goes back to our teens when we played sport together, fished and played cards, and did so many crazy and exciting things which we never dared to tell our parents. I know Mom and Dad enjoyed his visits to 42 Newtown after Jim and I moved away. Their link to the past.

I am left with many treasured memories of a long time and special friend.

Our thoughts are with you all at this time as you gather to remember a loving husband , father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Sincerely,

Jack Drover
Sackville, NB.
