The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. MILLER, Dorothy “Dot” (nee Balsom) – Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center on Saturday, July 15, 2017. Dorothy (Dot) Miller age 70 years. Leaving to mourn her husband of 51 years Edward, sons: Randy (Petrina) and Tony (Kim); very special and dearly loved granddaughter Abby; sisters: Janet (Oliver) Tucker, Violet (Lewis) Lambert, Florence (Randy) Simms; brothers: William (Melvie), Robert (Hilda); sisters-in-laws: Sharon (Clayton-deceased) Toope and Susie (Roy) McGrath; brother-in-law: Wince (Lori) Toope and a large circle of family and friends. Dot will be truly missed by her Dialysis family, the nurses and staff of the Waterford Dialysis Unit. The Miller family would like to extend a special thank you to Rev. Lynn Courage for her guidance and support. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave. Mt. Pearl on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 and Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Parish of the Ascension, Smallwood Drive. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. As expressions donation’s may be made in Dot’s memory to The Kidney Foundation.
