The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. MOREY, Millicent - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Thursday, November 9th, 2017. Millicent Morey aged 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Peter John (2008); parents John and Blanche Young; grandson Reiley Morey and granddaughter Rachael Morey; sisters-in-law: Effie Hayden and Valma Burton. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons: Gregory (Frances), Glen (Debbie), Keith (Susan) and Kevin (Mona); cherished grandchildren: Joshua, Demaris, Nichole, Chad, Alexandra, Ashley and Benjamin; sister: Enid Barrett (John); brothers: Raymond Young (Hilda) and Rev. Arch Young (Gertie), brothers-in-law: Cyril (Evelinia), Hurbert (Pearl), Dolph (Vera), Freeman (Myria), Harvey (Valma), Sam (Emma), Roy (June), Guy (Brenda) and Lloyd Burton; sister-in-law: Shirley Rowsell (Dave) and their families; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will take place from the Anglican Parish of St. John The Evangelist, Topsail, CBS, NL on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the St. John The Evangelist Cemetery, Topsail, CBS, NL. In lieu of flowers donations in Millicent’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
