The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. French, Elizabeth (Betty) – Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre , on Saturday, November 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family, Elizabeth (Betty) French ( Gellately) of Mount Pearl. Left with beautiful memories her daughters: Charmaine (Don) Squires, Linda (Keith) Oliver, Cindy (Ross) Sullivan, and Elisabeth (Gary) Pope; sons: Paul (Lynn), Stephen (Juanita), Mike, Doug (Bev), Bernard (Mary), Craig (Jim), Ken (Cynnamon), and Shawn (Sharon); 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who adored their nanny and gran-nanny; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; special friend Hector Barnes as well as her friends at Masonic Park especially Shirley & Stan Boone. The family would like to thank management and staff of Admirals Coast Retirement Centre for making her last few weeks so memorable. Also, thanking the Congestive Heart Failure Clinic Team at HSC, Dr. Sussex, Rody Pike, Angela Barrett NP’s for their outstanding and compassionate care over the last three years. Visitation will be at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl, on Wednesday, November 15th, from 12:00pm-9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be from Mary Queen of the World Parish on Thursday, November 16th, at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Vincent du Paul Society, Mary Queen of the World would be greatly appreciated. Please visit www.barretts.ca to sign the memorial guest book.
