The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joan Brophy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Dear Jim and Valerie, Dianne, Ken and David, Our sincere condolences in the loss of your dear, Mom. She was a beautiful person! We are glad that we had the chance to meet her in Ottawa for Kelsey and James' high school graduation and for their wedding celebration last Fall. She was very important to Kelsey and it was not hard for us to see why. Her gentle spirit, her warmth, her kindness and her faith shone through.
