Keough, Michael Robert - July 18, 1959 – January 12, 2018. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of beloved husband, father, poppy, son, brother, son-in-law, uncle and friend Michael Robert, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is predeceased by his mother: Patricia (2013); brother: Randy (2017), Cathy; sister-in-law: Margie (2015), Gene; grandparents, aunts & uncles.
Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 35 years Barbie; son: Jamie (Nicole), who he adored; grandson: Parker, the joy and sunshine of his life; father: Robert; brother: Barry (Sandy); sisters: Joanne (Jim), Terri ( Don – deceased), Christine (John), Audrey (Shawn); parents-in-law Gerald & Della Howlett; sister-in-law: Michelle (Rod); brothers-in-law: Bradley (Tina), Jeff (Kim), Shawn (Linda); special Aunt Melly and Uncle Allie, Uncle Roger. And many more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews whom he loved very much. As well close friends & buddies, Billy Hearn, David Chafe, Clayton Cole, Fabian Roberts, Parker’s mom Amber Gagnon & many other dear friends.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center & Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Center for all of your care and compassion, especially Shana Williams R.N.
Visitation will take place at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-9p.m. on Sunday, January 14th, 2018, Monday January 15 from 12-9p.m. and January 16 from 10-12p.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from St. Kevin’s Roman Catholic Parish at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow and the interment will take place Thursday January 18, 2018 at 10:15a m at St. Kevin's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations in Michael’s memory may be made to the ALS Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
