STEVENSON, Donald Sidney – Born 1938, Hopedale Labrador. It is with great sadness that we the family of Donald Sidney Stevenson announce his passing on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Center. Predeceased by his parents: Robert Louis and Justina Boas Stevenson; brother: William Anson and sister May Spracklin. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Cynthia, daughter Donna (Teth Cleveland) and son Roger (Sue Forsey); sisters: Joan, Ethel, Joyce, Millie, and Jeanette; brothers: Fred and Gary; as well as other relatives and friends. At Donald’s request cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Donald’s memory to The Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center or the L.A.
