Walter Martin O’Brien "Tub"
January 5, 1953 – March 1, 2018
Passed peacefully away after a brief battle with cancer in the presence of his loving wife, on Thursday March 1, 2018 at the Health Science Centre. Predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Mercedes (Hanlon); brothers: Joseph and Kevin; sister Marie; nephew Bren and father-in-law Cyril Hannon. Leaving to mourn his wife Roslyn; sons: Joseph and Warren (Cheeseman); brother Alphonsus (Agnes); sisters: Mary Pope (Keith), Theresa Maine: sister-in-law Sandra and granddaughter Erika; mother-in-law Meryl Hannon and many other family and friends too numerous to mention. Also, his furry little buddy Precious. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl. Visitation on Saturday March 3 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Sunday March 4 from 2:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service to take place on Monday March 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Salvation Army Citadel 106 Ashford Dr., Mount Pearl. Donations in Walters memory may be made to the O’Brien family.
